Description:
After many seasons of eating vegetables
almost entirely from my own garden and
the gardens of other local farmers I
have decided to offer others the opportunity
to eat quality produce, to know where
their food comes from and to eat vegetables
that were grown with the help of companion
planting, mulching and composting rather
than chemicals and fertilizers
Baskets will be available starting mid
to late June and ending early to mid
October weather permitting. Disease,
pests, and bad weather are part of the
inherent risks of agriculture and can
affect the harvest. This means that
baskets may start and end earlier and/or
later than anticipated and that you
may receive an abundance of some vegetables
and only a limited number of others
vegetables depending on disease, pests
and weather.
Share Sizes and Prices:
Full Share is designed for a
family of 4 where everyone enjoys vegetables
and fresh salads or 2 vegetarians. $550
Half Share is designed for 2
adults or a family with young children.
$300
* Half Share baskets are the same size
as full share baskets but they are delivered
every two weeks. A limited number of
half shares will be available.
Pickup:
Baskets must be picked up from the Sudbury
Farmer's Market on Thursdays between
5:30 and 6:15. Baskets that are not
picked up by 6:15 will immediately be
donated to another vegetable loving
individual as Spill The Beans Farm does
not have means to store vegetables.
Please send a friend or family member
to pick up your share if you are unavailable.
