The Logistics

This allows farmers to ensure proper land stewardship practices in order for the soil to be healthy for generations to come.

It is ultimately the consumer who needs to make the right choice. Support the farmers who grow products in healthy soil. Healthy soil produces healthy food.

For too many years pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and artificial fertilizers have been used. And, for too many years the residue from that "toxic goop" has been oozing into the ground water. Is it any wonder that many diseases today have increased ten-fold since the early 1900's?
The Future of Our Land is at Risk

In the US alone, more than 1 million acres of farmland is lost each year to urban development. The average age of the few remaining farmers in the US is 65. In the coming years, 80% of US farmland will change hands to their children who won't continue farming.

The future of land ownership is questionable. Small farms are struggling to survive and new ones are few in starting due to high costs of land and equipment. With the advent of CSA growers, farmers and consumers work together to ensure a supply of healthy food while growers survive economically.
